Sour Rye Soup Starter - Zakwas na Zurek - Recipe #84


Ingredients:

1/2 cup of rye flour
1/2 liter of water
2 cloves of garlic
Bay leaf
All spice
Peppercorns 

Boil the water and let it cool. 
Add the flour to a glass jar and add half of the water. Mix well. Add the rest of water and all the spices. Cover lightly and leave in warm place for 2 to 4 days.
